Scholarships For Autism Spectrum Disorder (AUTISM SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM) | Ohio Department Of Education And Workforce

Provides Autism Scholarship Program (ASP) funds to reimburse parents of children with autism for special educational services from private providers approved by the state that can fulfill a child's Individual Education Plan (IEP's). Since these funds replace monies paid by the state to the school district of residence, when a family accepts this voucher, they can no longer get these services from their school district. Funds may or may not cover the complete cost of services from a particular provider. Parents may use more than one provider as long as the amount requested does not exceed $27,000 in an academic year.

Prevention, Retention, Contingency (PRC) | Lucas County Job And Family Services

The PRC Program is designed to provide benefits and services to needy families and low income employed families to help move out of poverty and become self-sufficient. PRC support is short term and is not intended to meet ongoing needs. If eligible for PRC benefits, a voucher is issued for the service and paid to then vendor providing the service. Voucher services available for car repairs, employment materials (tools/equipment, uniforms/footwear, professional licensure/testing fees), GED fee payment assistance, and utility assistance (primary heat source, electric, water).

Scholarship applications available for students in Hocking, Athens, and Perry Counties who wish to attend an accredited institution of higher education. Provides a maximum of $3,000 (per 12-month period) with paying for pre-employment testing (physicals, psychological resting, drug screens, and so forth), testing (for state licenses, board certifications, commercial driver's license (CDL), GED test, and so forth), short term help with paying for occupational/training supplies, driver's education, books, manuals, tuition expenses, and so forth. Provides a maximum of $500 (per 12-month period) for suitable clothing for a job interview after first referring to a Goodwill Store.
