Starting Fresh Diabetes And Chronic Disease Education And Empowerment | Mercy Health

Helps participants’ understanding of an A1C to learning how to prepare fresh and healthy meals and to help build skills needed to control diabetes and other chronic disease in a 5-week series of classes. Recipes and fruits and vegetables are distributed throughout the program and participants who complete the program receive a 3-month membership to the Wayman D. Palmer YMCA.
