The Seniors Program connects eligible adults 65 and older with a local volunteer ophthalmologist who provides a medical eye exam often at no out-of-pocket cost, and up to one year of follow-up care for any condition diagnosed during the initial exam, for the physician services.

Ensures that every senior has access to medical eye care and promotes annual, dilated eye exams. Raise awareness about age-related eye disease, including cataracts, provide free eye care educational materials and facilitate access to eye care, at no out-of-pocket expense for eligible seniors. Provides a comprehensive medical eye exam and care for anything diagnosed at that exam for up to one year at no out-of-pocket cost for the physician's services. Does Not pay for eyeglasses, prescription drugs, hospital services, or fees of other medical professionals.

Provides vouchers and appointment for a free pair of glasses for individuals without Medicare, Medicaid or insurance. Must have a current prescription.
Provides financial assistance to low-income active United States military personnel (all branches of service) currently deployed overseas and to low-income post 9/11 Veterans with a wound, illness or injury received in the line of duty (LOD). Accepted reasons for financial assistance include mortgage assistance, rent assistance, home repairs, utility assistance, auto repairs, auto payments, travel and transportation, moving assistance, essential home items (mattresses and box springs and appliances such as washer, dryer, refrigerator, and stove), medical expense assistance, emergency dental assistance, child and dependent care assistance, critical baby items, and other financial assistance. Offers emergency financial assistance for critical baby items, food, and vision care to active duty service member with rank of rank E1-E6 with DEERS-eligible dependents. Note: Does NOT provide financial assistance for credit card debt or personal loans and does NOT assist with down payments for vehicles or homes.
