The Refuge Residential Addiction Recovery program is certified by the Ohio Department of Mental Health & Addiction Services. Our programming begins with a 30-Day Discovery Phase based on a 139-acre property in Lancaster, Ohio, and focuses on their personal growth and development. Men will participate in individual and group counseling with licensed counselors. After 30 days, men begin our Workforce Development program to start establishing a healthy daily routine and building a work history to prepare them for life after The Refuge. They will continue going through individual and group counseling.

Provides treatment, counseling, and case management for individuals with a substance use disorder, including both drugs and alcohol, or in recovery.

Offers substance use related treatment and support services from nurses and peer support specialists for pregnant and new mothers. Services include assistance establishing and continuing OB care, finding treatment, resources and support groups, and arranging inpatient treatment to start medication-assisted treatment (MAT).

Miami County Recovery Council provides services to those struggling with addiction and mental health issues, on a sliding fee scale, based on a client's ability to pay. Services include drug use disorder (drug addiction) counseling.

Baby and Me Tobacco free is a free smoking cessation program for pregnant women. This program includes four one-on-one sessions completed during the pregnancy. If the participant is able to quit by session three, then they will get a $50.00 gift card that can be used for diapers/wipes. They will also be eligible for a gift card at session four during the pregnancy. After baby is born, meetings will continue monthly for up to six months with gift cards being given at each postpartum visit, as long as mom remains tobacco free.

Resources and information available to take home concerning abuse prevention and the effects of substances, alcohol, tobacco, and prescription medication. Offers free Deterra medication disposal pouches to discard unused or expired medications. Also offers support and resources for assistance against bullying, problem gambling, and suicide prevention.

Provides adult psychiatric services, including evaluations, inpatient units, substance abuse treatment and psychiatric emergency room care.

Provides partial hospitalization substance use disorder treatment to men and women in a group setting. Program includes individual and group counseling, case management, nursing services and medication management, and family education.

Offers weekly support group program to help clients remain drug and alcohol free. Individual and group sessions assist with mental health issues and encourage clients to make healthy changes and lifestyle adjustments.

Provides safe withdrawal medication and a management plan to help ease your physical cravings so you can focus on recovery. Common medications prescribed include buprenorphine, buprenorphine/naloxone (Suboxone), and naltrexone (Vivitrol). Addiction medicine research indicates that combining medication, individual counseling, group therapy, and social support provides the best chances for long-term recovery.

Headquarters of a Christ centered mission which provides food, temporary shelter, clothing, spiritual and rehabilitation help free of charge to participants from Trumbull County and the surrounding area. Lunch and dinner served Monday through Saturday, breakfast served on Sunday.

Dual Diagnosis for Co-Occurring Disorders Sometimes people with mental health issues are also struggling with substance abuse. Together, we’ll develop a treatment plan that addresses your needs and all of your symptoms. What Does Help Look Like We offer a wide range of therapy, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness training, family education and counseling, and fitness and wellness education. When you’re in outpatient mental health treatment, whether you are stepping down from inpatient care or beginning treatment as an outpatient, your plan will include one of two programs. Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) For people who need to maintain a work, home, or school schedule, our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) offers comprehensive outpatient services in a day or evening format. Typically, this program lasts two to four weeks and meets five to six days a week. You’ll participate in several sessions each day, including individual, group, and family therapy. You’ll also have opportunities to enjoy our beautiful grounds and take part in holistic activities like yoga, music, and art. Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) Your treatment plan may include our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), which meets three to five days a week for a minimum of nine hours per week. This program offers group and family therapy, as well as medication management, skill development, and long-term recovery planning. Before you complete the program, we’ll make sure that any ongoing treatment you need is aligned with your aftercare provider. Some of the discussion areas for outpatient mental health treatment include triggers and warning signs, self-identity and self-esteem, coping skills, relapse stages and prevention, and understanding emotions and moods.
