MAY NOT BE USED FOR: entertainment furniture (such as a TV or a radio), washers or dryers (unless it is essential for an applicant's employment or needed due to a disability), mortgage payments. YEARLY CASH LIMITS: $1,500 total during the calendar year (may be $750 for certain non-custodial parents).

Assistance is based on the totality of the disaster.

Provides disaster relief and recovery services for individuals and families affected by disasters. Services may include financial assistance for emergency food, clothing and shelter. May provide assistance with security deposits and long-term recovery supplies, as needed. Crisis counseling is offered to disaster victims and their families. Also provides community disaster preparedness planning and collects monetary donations in the event of a disaster.
