Provides a delivery service to patrons who are unable to visit the library regularly. Picks up and delivers books to homebound individuals and Berkshire area Amish schools once every 4-6 weeks. Offers personalized reading material, books on tape with the player provided (for those with a medical disability), and large print books.
Upon request, monthly deposits of books are delivered to nursing homes, retirement facilities, and other senior centers.
Provides free home delivery of library materials to individuals who are temporarily or permanently homebound. Alternative print formats available (Large Type). Also available are audio visual materials and "talking" books.
Offers films and other programs for adults, young adults, and children. Offers children's story hours and marionette and puppet shows and gallery in main library auditorium.

This includes: - Elderly - Home-bound - Physically challenged - Institutionalized - Preschool or Daycare - Amish Schools - To and from library branches Services to institutional settings include Knox County Jail, a variety of preschool and daycare centers, and retirement centers and nursing homes.

Home Delivery Service delivers materials to homebound patrons. Service Associates will interview client about reading preferences and record requests for specific titles, authors and general categories. Delivery is once a month at a prearranged time. All items must be returned at the next delivery unless arrangements are made.
