Provides free hospital care for qualifying low-income, uninsured patients of University Hospitals campuses. Services not covered by HCAP are medically unnecessary treatments, transplant services, physician charges, ambulance and patient convenience items (telephone, parking, television, personal items).
Provides medical case management and help with HIV related medical, dental, and mental health visits and payments. The OHDAP (Ohio HIV Drug Assistance program) is also coordinated through our agency. This program provides financial aid for HIV related medications and some medical insurance premium payments and co-pays.

Offers a program that will provide basic, medically necessary hospital care free of charge to qualifying hospital patients. Note: If not eligible for Hospital Care Assurance Program (HCAP), may be eligible for other financial assistance programs through Summa Health.
Assists with payment of medical bills that are not in collections. Helps with expenses not covered by insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid, including dental, vision, medical equipment and supplies. Also helps with co-pays owed after surgeries and doctor visits. * UPDATE: Funds for medical bills are available on a limited basis at this time.
