Provides diagnostic and treatment services for people whose illnesses or injuries require that they occupy a bed for at least one night.

Assists with payment of medical bills that are not in collections. Helps with expenses not covered by insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid, including dental, vision, medical equipment and supplies. Also helps with co-pays owed after surgeries and doctor visits.

Provides assistance to children with special health care needs and their families through three different programs with varying eligibility. *Diagnostic Program: services for up to six months, from CMH-approved providers, to rule out or diagnose a special health care need or establish a plan of treatment. Services may include: Tests and x-rays Therapy evaluations Public health nursing services Visits to CMH-approved doctors Up to five days in the hospital *Treatment Program: services for one year, from CMH-approved providers, for treatment of an eligible condition. May include: laboratory tests, x-rays, physician visits, prescription medications, medical equipment and supplies, surgeries, hospitalizations, public health nursing services and therapies as well as service coordination. All services must be related to the child's eligible condition. *Service Coordination Program: helps families locate and coordinate services for their child.

If eligibility is satisfied, the hospital will be paid directly for the care received. Other providers whose services are directly connected to the emergency event may also be paid, as determined on a case-by-case basis.

Financial assistance is available for emergency and other medically necessary care, and may be available for services provided by a Cleveland Clinic doctor.

211 Summit

Provides coordination of services for children with certain specific handicapping conditions. Develops service plan which addresses the full range of medical, social, educational, psychological, recreational, vocations, and personal needs of the children and their families. Helps arrange for the needed services.

Lifeline Lake County 211

Provides free and/or reduced hospital care for qualifying low-income, uninsured or underinsured patients of Mercy Allen Hospital. Financial assistance is available for emergency and other medically necessary care, and may be available for services provided by a Mercy Health doctor.

211 Summit

Provides assistance in finding detox programs, residential treatment options (primarily use Teen Challenge), also provide funds for Teen Challenge programs up to $2000 depending on the program. Helps persons with addictions to drug, alcohol, gambling, and/or sex (limited resources for some sexually oriented offenders)

211 Mansfield OH

Provides free hospital care for qualifying low-income, uninsured patients of University Hospitals campuses. Services not covered by HCAP are medically unnecessary treatments, transplant services, physician charges, ambulance and patient convenience items (telephone, parking, television, personal items).
