Provides opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities to learn, grow, and advance. Offers both community and site-based services which focus on experiences to enhance greater independence, self-advocacy, and choice. Community based services provide a natural learning environment while exploring work options and developing community relationships and community membership.

Provides support to people living with developmental disabilities in Hardin County and their families. Those who are enrolled with HCBDD are connected with a Service and Support Administrator (SSA). The SSA meets with each person and develops outcome-based Person-Centered and Self-Directed Plans. This means help with identifying needs, finding providers to support those needs (such as in home support, employment, etc) scheduling doctor's appointments, finding housing, finding transportation for appointments and other supports a person needs to live their life.

People who are three years of age and older and are enrolled with Riverside are connected with a Service and Support Administrator (SSA), who meets with each person and their team to discuss what is important to them and their dreams for the future. Outcome-based Person-Centered and Self-Directed Plans are developed. The SSA serves as the primary point of coordination to develop, coordinate, and implement the plan, working with each person, family, and provider to ensure service delivery.
