Equipment available in the lab includes Ellison machines with an extensive assortment of dies, Artwaxer, Bookbinder, small and large laminators, copier, and other office equipment. A large variety of consumable items such as construction paper, felt, posterboard, Velcro, and much more are also available for use in the lab.

Provides bicycles, bike classes, bike repair, and essential bicycling equipment such as helmets, locks, and lights for eligible individuals.

The Bicycle Helmet Program provides school-age children with bicycle helmets for those who do not have one available for riding.

Provides lights to use on the front and rear of bicycles in an effort to increase safe biking at night time. Lights are compliant with state requirements for bicycles (white front light and red tail light visible from 500 ft.) Batteries may be included.

Provides tents and emergency tarps when available. We offer contacts with the housing coalition and metro housing.

Library has more than 1500 developmental toys, switches, developmental software programs, and low-technology augmentative communication devices that are available for families to borrow for use at home for 30-day periods. Consultation to families is available to help them identify appropriate toys, switches, low-tech communication devices, software and computer access products to match the needs of their child. A computer lab is on-site for families and professionals to preview software, try out hardware to match the accessibility needs of a child. The staff is knowledgeable with many software and computer access products and will assist invidious in learning how to use these products. The staff at the library provides presentations regarding assuasive technology; computer access to parent groups, and professionals along with graduate and undergraduate students.

Day Shelter provides tents, sleeping bags and blankets are distributed to those in need.

Offers a quarterly giveaway of clothing, small household items, and toys.

Offers ice skating lessons, open skating sessions, and skate rental from August to early April. Arena may be rented by groups.

Offers a toy lending library that loans developmental toys and resource materials to anyone working with a child from ages birth to six (6), whether they have special needs or are typically developing.

Offers a variety of athletic and recreational activities/programs including: karate, scuba diving classes, pre- and postnatal fitness classes, swim classes for children ages 6 months and up, and a variety of other programs and activities. Program provides prescription sports goggles to vision-impaired youth from low-income families. Goggles can be used in a variety of sports, including basketball, baseball, soccer, racket sports, girls lacrosse and field hockey.

Requires three-year commitment that includes pre- and post-season evaluations from all participating coaches.
