Provides an after school learning lab with computers, reading materials, and tutors. Overall focus is on literacy. Includes: service learning, college and career exploration, health and wellness, social skills and self-esteem, recreation trips, among other services. Also offers a competitive summer arts program where girls work with professional artist/teachers in several areas of the arts including: music and poetry composition, creative writing, dance, acting, or graphic design. Girls write music and lyrics, choreograph, perform, and record a CD of their work. Live performance at end of summer.

Program is based on Africentric mentoring and rites of passage. Simba matches African American male youths with African American men from the community to act as role models and give friendship, support, and guidance to the young men. Mentors are assigned for a minimum of six months.

Provides a parenting class for fathers. Provides help to fathers to become more responsible, committed, and engaged in their children's lives. Program includes help for new or about-to-be fathers, parent support groups, and parent counseling.

Program includes sessions on resolving conflict before it escalates, managing money and building credit, time management, goal-setting, effective communication, critical thinking skills for problem solving, and avoiding premature fatherhood. Provides a variety of services that cover women's health concerns, including, breast exams, pap smears, obstetrics/gynecological services, pregnancy testing, birth control, midwifery, and prenatal care, including care for high risk pregnancies. Functions as a grant making public charity providing funding to charitable organizations only which provide services to residents of greater Cleveland's communities in need. Focuses on providing funding for education including family life and cultural and arts, homelessness, crisis intervention, HIV/AIDS education, re-entry (ex-offenders), workforce development, seniors, youth and social services to African Americans. Does not fund endowments, capital grants, or individuals.

Offers an academic enrichment and social responsibility program for youth to participate in projects that are led by mentors and are designed to teach life skills, promote self-discipline, self-respect, and personal responsibility, and provide educational experiences and exposure to different careers. Program has two tracks: one provides a comprehensive series of classes that explores and educates participants on all aspects of starting their own business. The second track provides direct help in evaluating and expanding businesses already in existence.

Also provides basic information about income taxes, as well as State, Federal, and local Income Tax forms. The mission of AALI (African American Leadership Initiative) is to identify and cultivate African American leaders in Mansfield and Richland County. AALI functions to create a network of diverse leaders with relevant opportunities to connect and contribute. AALI Social is a monthly gathering for the purpose of networking and establishing connections.
