Provides supportive services to low-income veterans and their families living in or transitioning to permanent housing. Offers outreach, case management, health care referrals, legal assistance referrals and help with fee payments, daily living costs and service referrals, housing counseling services, personal financial planning services, transportation expense assistance and assistance in obtaining VA and other benefits. Additionally, the program may also provide time-limited payments to third parties (ex. landlords, utility companies, moving companies and licensed child care providers) if these payments help veteran families stay in or acquire permanent housing on a sustainable basis.

Undesignated Temporary Financial Assistance
Provides opportunities for advanced education for veterans or dependents of veterans who desire to attend an institution of higher learning. Scholarships are awarded in the total amount of $1000, payable in full and only applied toward the student's tuition. A total of ten scholarships will be awarded each year. This is a one-time scholarship.

Also provides official State of Ohio Veterans ID card that proves that the veteran has honorable discharge papers filed with the county. Veterans may also use the card for discounts with area businesses.

Offers youth of wounded, critically ill, or injured service members a summer program where they can work through their struggles and form supportive relationships. These difficulties may include adversity leading to "secondary PTSD" and symptoms such as hypervigilance, dissociation, irritability, and behavioral outbursts.
Provides transitioning active duty service members training in how to start and grow a business. Offers a 2 day Introduction to Entrepreneurship workshop taught at a local military instillation which will provide an education on business fundamentals and an analysis on the feasibility and sustainability of the service member's business concept. Also offers an 8 week Foundations of Entrepreneurship course taught online via the University of Syracuse in which the service member will learn the fundamentals of developing a business plan.

Provides access to emergency funds available through the various military aid societies (Army Emergency Relief, Navy Marine Corps Relief Society, Air Force Aid Society, and the Coast Guard Mutual Assistance). The funds can be used for a variety of purposes such as medical care, car repair, emergency travel and utility bill payment assistance. Assistance may come in the form of an interest free loan, a direct grant, or some combination of the two.
