Federal Benefits For Veterans Booklet | National Veterans Foundation

Provides Veterans and their families an overview of the federal and state benefits available to them. The VA can provide health care, education, insurance, help with buying a home, funding to veterans disabled due to their service, burial in a national cemetery, and sometimes all of the above for family members of service members and veterans. Some states provide additional benefits, such as property tax reductions or additional educational benefits. On our web site you will find the eligibility requirements for the various benefits, how to apply for them, an overview of what the benefits can do for you, and how to get more information. Wherever possible you will find links to the actual laws and regulations governing the benefits.
