Applications are now open for the 2025 Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program. Eligible Ohioans aged 60 and older can receive $50 on fresh, locally grown fruits, vegetables, herbs, and unprocessed honey. If you participated in 2024 and still qualify, you can reuse your physical card this year-your new $50 benefit will be loaded on May 15. You can sign up with your email and use the smartphone app on the same date.

Assists veterans in a variety of ways. Provides food and clothing vouchers in emergency situations. In certain circumstances, provides assistance with paying for rent, rent deposit, mobile home lot rental fees, and utility payments (gas, electric, and water). Will help with transportation expenses (which is usually in the form of bus passes). Does not help with property taxes, car insurance, or car payments. Will consider other emergency needs that veterans and their eligible dependents may have on a case-by-case basis.

Assistance will only be given to those who have a legitimate emergency or hardship as determined by the Veterans Service Commission, and meet the eligibility requirements established by the Ohio Revised Code. Seasonal program for older adults open from May - October that issues ten $5 coupons that may be redeemed for eligible foods during the growing season at participating farmers' markets. Eligible foods include locally grown, fresh vegetables, fresh cut herbs, fruits, and honey.

Provides seasonal funding for purchasing food to families with eligible children. Households will receive a total of $120 per eligible child on an Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) card during the summer.
