Assists veterans with little or no income in a variety of ways: provides food and clothing vouchers, which are only honored in Cuyahoga County, in emergency situations. In certain circumstances, provides assistance with paying for rent, rent deposit, mobile home lot rental fees, and utility payments (gas, electric, and water). Will help with transportation expenses (which is usually in the form of bus passes). Does not help with property taxes, car insurance, or car payments. Assists with up to $999 in burial expenses for indigent veterans.

The St. Martin De Porres Outreach Center may be able to help with food vouchers when funding is available. Appointments are required. All financial assistance is determined on a case by case basis. Clients must have transportation to the Mission Center in Plain City.
