Income-eligible homeowners and renters may receive the following: A full home energy inspection; Attic and wall insulation; Air sealing; Safety checks on natural gas appliances; Natural gas furnace repair or replacement; Natural gas water heater repair or replacement.

Provides a federally funded low-income residential energy efficiency program to reduce energy usage by low income households. Services may include attic, wall and basement insulation; blower-door-guided air leakage reduction; heating system repairs or replacements; and health and safety testing and inspections. Individualized client education is offered as part of the program.

Energy assistance program provides a weatherization review, safety inspection on combustion appliances such as a heating unit, gas stove, water tank, etc. Other services may include a tune-up / repair of combustion appliances, insulation of attics, insulation of sidewalls, sealing of heating ducts, insulation of floors or foundation perimeter, insulation of water heaters, reduction of air leakage from major sources, personalized energy management plan and information on how to control humidity in the home.

Provides assistance to increase the energy efficiency of homes and reduce household energy expenditures. Services include: safety inspection of gas appliances, carbon monoxide alarms, education on energy saving, insulation, as well as inspection, repair, and possible replacement of furnace and hot water tank (as if warranted), and customer education. Services provided through contracted agencies. Service provided depends on the assessment of the property.

Additional services may include the following: Safety Inspection, tune-up/repair, and if necessary, installation of heating units; Insulation of attics; Insulation of sidewalls; Insulation of heating ducts; Insulation of floors; Insulation of water tanks; Reduction of air leakage from major sources; Personalized Energy Mangement Plans.

The Home Weatherization Assistance Program helps families reduce heating and cooling costs by increasing efficient energy use. By analyzing the home's energy efficiency, staff can install insulation and weather stripping or take other measures to reduce the family's heating and cooling costs while increasing their comfort. As a result of the Home Weatherization Assistance Program, households experience energy efficiency, and health and safety gains.

Provides home weatherization for households that qualify by being at or below 150 percent of the federal poverty guideline. For a family of four, the household yearly income must be at or below $30,000). Consumers can receive insulation in attics, walls and basements, home health and safety testing and inspections, and heating system repairs or replacements. In addition to the incentives this program will bring to residential consumers, a financing program may help customers invest in these energy savings projects. Columbia Gas may offer low or no interest programs to eligible customers to help pay for improvements resulting from the program.

The Home Weatherization Assistance Program (HWAP) and additional energy conservation programs operated for Columbia Gas Customers and Ohio Edison customers are operated by OHCAC at a Marion location. Center staff can assist with applications and information regarding program guidelines, services and time frames. Services provided for eligible households can include appliance replacement and home insulation.

AEP Cap Program helps eligible AEP customers reduce their utility costs by installing energy efficient measures for their home, apartment, or mobile home. These measures may include LED light bulbs, hot water tank insulation, and Energy Star rated refrigerators and freezers. All energy saving measures are installed at no cost to eligible customers. Customer education will also be provided to eligible families.

MORPC offers home energy efficiency (weatherization) and safety services at no cost to income-eligible residents to help keep them warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer, all while lowering energy bills.
