(HEAP) is a federally funded program administered by the Ohio Development Services Agency. It helps eligible Ohioans pay their home energy bill. The benefit is applied directly to a customer’s utility bill or bulk fuel bill. The amount of the benefit is determined by the number of people in the household, the heating source, and the region of residence.

Arranges for weatherization services for low-income customers of Columbia Gas of Ohio. Focuses on helping customers reduce high heating bills. Income-eligible homeowners and renters may receive the following: A full home energy inspection; Attic and wall insulation; Air sealing; Safety checks on natural gas appliances; Natural gas furnace repair or replacement; Natural gas water heater repair or replacement.
Provides a home weatherization assistance program to help homeowners reduce their electric bills. It is not a rehabilitation or maintenance program. Homes are inspected for health or safety issues related to the heating systems in the home. Diagnostic testing is performed to check for air movement, gas leaks and carbon monoxide leaks. Additional services may include the following: Safety Inspection, tune-up/repair, and if necessary, installation of heating units; Insulation of attics; Insulation of sidewalls; Insulation of heating ducts; Insulation of floors; Insulation of water tanks; Reduction of air leakage from major sources; Personalized Energy Mangement Plans.
Provides services to income-eligible renters and homeowners which may include: testing and repairing heating units, reducing air infiltration and installing insulation in the attic, walls, and/or floors. Health and safety hazards threatening the residents or weatherization crew may also be removed.
Provides a federally funded low-income residential energy efficiency program to reduce energy usage by low income households. Services may include attic, wall and basement insulation; blower-door-guided air leakage reduction; heating system repairs or replacements; and health and safety testing and inspections. Individualized client education is offered as part of the program.
Assists with inspection and repair or replacement of heating unit, whole house diagnostic inspection, installation of insulation in attic and sidewalls, various energy saving procedures, information and referral to other programs.

Provides home weatherization for households that qualify by being at or below 150 percent of the federal poverty guideline. For a family of four, the household yearly income must be at or below $30,000). Consumers can receive insulation in attics, walls and basements, home health and safety testing and inspections, and heating system repairs or replacements. In addition to the incentives this program will bring to residential consumers, a financing program may help customers invest in these energy savings projects. Columbia Gas may offer low or no interest programs to eligible customers to help pay for improvements resulting from the program.
This program that helps with winterizing a home. Provides help in reducing utility costs through attic, wall and basement insulation. May include replacement or repair of heating systems. May also replace older refrigerators, stoves and ovens with more energy efficient and safe appliances.

The goal of the Electric Partnership Program (EPP) is to help eligible families lower their AEP bill. The EPP provides home energy audits and energy efficiency test for refrigerators and freezers. Eligible families may receive energy efficient light bulbs, showerheads, hot water tank insulation, pipe insulation and custom suggestions to help reduce the electric bill. NOTE: Older Refrigerators and freezers may be replaced free of charge if they meet certain requirements.

Provides a no-cost energy assistance program that is designed to increase energy efficiency in homes of low-income individuals/families. This program is available to home owners and renters (with the landlord's permission). A certified energy inspector performs an in-depth energy assessment of the home. After assessments are completed, improvements may be made to the home. Improvements may include furnace and water heater repairs or replacement, air sealing, insulation and duct sealing.

Homeowners and renters whose income is 150% or less of federal poverty guidelines are eligible. Columbia Gas partners with LEADS to help income eligible customers. WarmChoice reduces gas usage by an average of 28 percent. This can save customers approximately $400 in average savings.
Offering a voluntary incentive program for the installation of rain barrels on residential properties. The program currently offers one (1) not-to-exceed $50 rebate for one (1) rain barrel per property.
