Contacts deployed military personnel on behalf of families experiencing an event which requires an urgent communication such as a death, illness, or birth of a child. Offers emergency leave verification and basic information and referral. Provides access to emergency funds available through the various military aid societies (Army Emergency Relief, Navy Marine Corps Relief Society, Air Force Aid Society, and the Coast Guard Mutual Assistance). The funds can be used for a variety of purposes such as medical care, car repair, emergency travel and utility bill payment assistance. Assistance may come in the form of an interest free loan, a direct grant, or some combination of the two.

Program promotes health and access to care and to improve the quality of life for Ohioans living with HIV and offers a spectrum of services designed to help people with HIV and their families.
Provides funding for charitable and benevolent purposes for individuals, families and organizations within the community. Funding might be used to help provide basic needs to a family devastated by fire, or it might go toward helping defray the cost of a special wheelchair lift for someone who can't afford it. Provides limited financial assistance and/or resources for military personnel and their families.
Provides short-term financial assistance to eligible veterans, spouses, dependent children and widows who have demonstrated a need, including rental assistance and/or mortgage payments, food assistance, assistance in paying utility bills. May use once every 90 days under Veteran Service Commission Financial Guidelines.

Funds are available for those who are aged 60 or better, and who need one-time assistance for items such as a refrigerator, stove, washer, dryer, sweeper, mattress set or microwave.
Emergency assistance with essential needs may be provided to veterans discharged under honorable conditions in a time of need. When a veteran is requesting assistance the emergency support eligibility must be determined with the required documents according to the ESR (Emergency Soldier's Relief) policy.
Emergency temporary financial assistance is available to those who qualify.

The program provides benefits and services to families who are in need of help with essential support to become self-sufficient. The PRC Program is designed to: •Prevent families from having to apply for OWF cash assistance when a crisis arises; •Help families retain employment by enhancing job skills , overcoming barriers and providing short-term assistance or wage supplementation if necessary. •Provide for contingent needs by helping families with nonrecurring urgent problems that could, if left unattended, result in families needing long-term public assistance. •Support families receiving OWF with services to enable them to become self-sufficient.
