Provides temporary shelter with a hot meal, clothing donations, hygiene donations, mats and/or cots to sleep. To-go breakfast items in the morning. Medical and mental health outreach is offered to those who seek it. Capacity is 35 beds. Pets are allowed.

Transitional Housing | Emmanuel Promise Of Hope Ministries

Provides rooms in houses for those moving from homelessness to self-sufficiency. There are 3 houses total. Individuals are expected to maintain their rooms, to do their laundry, to purchase and prepare their own food, and to interact with and get support from other residents through regular house meetings.

Homeless Shelter - Families With Children | Doors Of Hope Geauga

Provides shelter to homeless families with children (and in some cases, single women). During their stay, clients will be assessed to identify any services and benefits needed and will receive assistance with housing search, employment and/or education. Shelter will work with existing providers to assist families in transitioning to self-sufficient living.

Provides a eight-bed sober living facility for women who are recovering from addiction to alcohol or other drugs. Seeks to help clients achieve independence. Recovery supervised by an on-staff counselor; a manager is on duty 24-hours a day.

Transitional Youth Housing Program (TYHP) | Life Exchange Center - The Life Exchange Center - The

Provides a housing program designed to increase independent living skills and self-sufficiency through a non-clinical peer support model. Goal is permanent housing. Program includes support services, assistance with establishing educational goals if wanted, skills to maintain behavioral health, manage finances, and develop social supports in the community.

Extended Care Facilities | Glenbeigh Hospital And Outpatient Centers

Provides a treatment facility for those adults who require long-term treatment for chemical dependency. Uses a holistic approach in recovery and prepares clients to reenter society. Offers gender specific programs including individual, group, and family counseling. Also presents clients with recreational, educational, and volunteer opportunities with the goal of helping clients develop the tools needed to develop meaningful interpersonal relationships and to fulfill responsibilities that accompany living with others in a stable, healthy recovering household.

Provides an overnight shelter. Services include sleeping cots, showers, food and information about community resources. Also provides transportation from several sites in Chillicothe to the shelter.

Offers a residential program for persons seeking to overcome addictions. Residential programming includes: NA and AA support groups; case management and support services, including adult mentoring. Also offers offender/ex-offender support groups, and support groups for friends and family of inmates/offenders/ex-offenders off-site. Program is primarily spiritual in nature, but will accommodate a wide range of faiths.

Programs have a Christian, faith-based focus. Shelter capacity is 95.

Provides holistic programming that typically can last from 8-12 months. Programs have Christian focus. The long-term program consists of courses, intensive case management, on-site work activities, job readiness, and continuing education. Capacity is 166 beds. Shelter letters may be requested by outside agencies only, not by clients.

Provides motel vouchers for residents of Darke County who have become homeless. Up to 7 nights of lodging may be provided.

Prodigal House | Manna House Recovery And Resource Center

Provides a 17-bed residence for individual men who need a sober environment to support their substance abuse recovery or a transitional residence after release from prison. Residents share in chores, must attend 3 12-step meetings per week (for substance abusers) or a mandatory weekly meeting for counseling (for ex-offenders), and are generally supervised by a house manager. Typical stay is 6 months-1 year. Twelve apartment suites are also available for those who are ready for a more independent living situation.

Provides shelter to men. Alcohol and drugs use is strictly forbidden. Residents must maintain sobriety on and off property. Residents expected to assist with daily functioning of house. Shelter capacity is 28. Transitional house capacity is 12. No pets of any type are accepted.

Residential Substance Abuse Treatment | Julie Adams House With Just In Time Recovery

Offers a 4-phase, up to 4 month rehabilitation plan for adult women. Residents receive transitional housing, PHP/IOP services, counseling, case management, peer support, life skills training, behavioral health services, and 12-step recovery among a diverse group of women. Residents are encouraged to seek employment after 2-3 months.

Next Step - Transitional Housing - Shelter | Axess Family Services

Provides case management services to young adults. Clients will be paired with a trained case manager who will help develop a personalized case plan to foster independence. Participants will learn skills such as financial planning, job readiness, study skills, time management, goal-setting, problem-solving and critical thinking. Ten transitional housing beds are reserved for Geauga County residents only (clients may access case management services even if they are not using the housing portion of this program).
